British Fashion Invasion Hits The Bay!

The British fashion invasion continues with the TopShop and Topman lines being the latest UK fashion exports to land in the Great Canadian North.

Soon Jonathan+Olivia won't be the only store carrying looks from the highly popular retailer because Canada's oldest department store, The Bay has earned the franchise rights to carry both shops within The Bay as well as standalone stores. Famous for their fast-fashion looks and designer collaborations with Kate Moss, their clothing is popular with fashionistas such as Lauren Conrad, Alexa Chung and Rachel Bilson.

If you can't wait to get your hands on some TopShop, you are going to have to wait a little longer because the line won't be available until the Fall. But don't fret, it gives you something to look forward to!

TopShop Hits the T.Dot

The popular British fashion store, TopShop has finally hit Canadian soil but not in the way you may think it has.

Clean and modern fashion store, Jonathan+Olivia located in the trendy area around Ossington and Queen Street West which carries international brands from A to Z from Alexander Wang to Zero by MC has upped the ante by featuring an in-store TopShop Boutique. Featuring the stylish and fashionable pieces that TopShop is known for this unique concept is the first of its kind in Canada.

Being in New York it is hard not to be inspired by every person you see walking down the street. Everyone is just so stylish. I have seen a fair amount of maxi dresses in all sorts of prints, purples and blues, fabulous bejewelled sandals and incredible shades. 

With all the stylish people strutting the sidewalk, which should really be called the catwalk, I decided to photograph the stylish lady in the above photograph. Always very fashionable, she usually sports looks from J. Crew and Top Shop while always putting her own spin on it.
